1/5 of 2012 Goals = Done!

Try acupuncture? Done! Time to put a big exciting virtual check mark by that one! It was actually pretty cool, and a majority of the needles were painless (only two pinched a little bit, and she warned me beforehand). The acupuncturist/Chinese medicine guru told me things about my body that made total sense, but I had never realized, so she put the needles exactly where they needed to be. She then left me to relax for a few minutes in the dimly lit room, eyes closed, and that's when it all connected. It was very cool. I'm converted!

Afterward I visited the beach for just a few minutes. It's been over a year since I last felt the sand under my bare feet, the water rush up onto my ankles, and it was pure joy. I just wish I could have captured the smell of the ocean on my iPhone, too. It was incredible.
