I love everywhere I've lived. Honestly. California, Utah, Kentucky, Tennessee. They're all great. But there's something about Utah that I miss oh so much. I can't quite put my finger on it, but Utah? You have a nice little part of my heart.
I'm moving back to Utah next month to finish up my last year at school. Here are some things I'm excited for:
- Visit Melanie and Kathryn in Las Vegas.
- Visit a bunch of my mission friends who go to Utah State.
- Move into an apartment with my cousin Kaylynne! I'm really excited.
- Mountains. (See above photo).
- I need to stock up on my favorite shirts from Downeast Basics, without having to pay extra for shipping. They have stores everywhere in Utah. Woohoo!
- Family. According to the last picture I saw of my Aunt Susan's boys, everyone has grown up wayyy too much. I hope the boys aren't too cool to hang out with me anymore, or accept my cookie bribes. :)
- Food. Costa Vida, The Chocolate. Utah knows food.
- The Provo Temple (check out the picture here, it's gorgeous) and the new Provo City Center Temple (aka the Provo Tabernacle- the building burned down the day after I left Utah in December 2010. I'm so happy that they're restoring and converting the building into a temple).
- School! I'm excited to get back into the swing of things. And fresh blank 15 cent notebooks from Target. I already stocked up.
Up next: Reasons why I love San Diego, and things I need to soak in before I go back to Utah.
